142 restoration 140-160 1973

I'll be starting a restoration this winter on a 1973 142s that my father is the original owner of. 80% of the work will be making the car rust free. Daily driving through 23 years of Canadian winters took its toll to the body before we took it off the road. Mechanically the car is fine, except for the brakes, and needing to get it to run on unleaded gas. (only 122,000 mi. stored the last 8 years). To make this all a little easier, since some of the panels i need are no longer available, i'm looking for a parts car, preferably southern with little or no rust. condition of mechanics is not important, they can even be missing. This is probably going to be next to impossible to find, but worth a shot at asking anyhow. This car has a lot of sentimental value and i can't wait to see it back on the road.
If anyone has any other sources for good quality sheetmetal parts that are no longer available from Volvo, also let me know. email i_roll142@hotmail.com
