Bought a 1994 940 -- followup to 'Advice on this used 940'

I put many questions in the previous post 'Advice on this used 940'. Last weekend, I finally bought a 94 940 for my gf. It's not the one that was asked in the original post, but the many advices and suggestions sure helped me to find this one. The car was owned by a women since new and was sold to dealer two weeks ago.

The good things are:
1. Almost everything, AC, ABS, Power Window, Locks etc. work on this car. The only thing that does not work is the Overdrive button. When I press it, there is no 'arrow' lit on the dashboard. The OD works fine. I am not too concerned about this because my gf won't be towing anything.
2. It has only 100K miles with a new timing belt, water pump, and radiator. It comes with four almost new Goodyear Eagle HP tires and four Nokian snows in trunk.
3. The brakes are very stable, it's softer than I would like. But hard braking down from 80mph does not cause any viberation.
4. It drives very smooth and the tranny shifts very smooth.
5. The interior is good, black leather seats (my gf's favorites) are in good shape. Even the seat heaters work fine.

The not so good things are:
1. There are more sluges under oil filler cap than I would like to see. The woman may not be very diligent at oil changes, but carfax does show many visits to VW dealer for routin maintanence. Considering B230FD is a very tough engine and the low mileage, I thought it might do just fine.
2. The car seems to be quite underpowered, hard to accelerate light uphill at 70mph. It has 20 less horses than my gf's 2001 corolla yet weighs 900 lbs more. I guess it's gonna take her a while to get used to drive this monster around :)
3. The tranny fluid is also not in the best shape. It is brown. But it shifts very smooth I could hardly tell gear changes. I am debating whether to flush it or not, as the winter is coming, if anything goes wrong I might have to work on street side.

I found another interesting thing while driving it back. Seeing from the rear view mirror I noticed the rear window has no defrosting wires. My first feeling was the car was broken in and the previous owner went cheap and replaced with a glass without defrosting wires. Then after arriving home I looked closely and found the wires are very very thin.

The dealer asked for $3900.00 and after 5minutes bargaining he let it go for $3300.00. My gf used to be a brick hater but after riding in the 940 she completely falls in love with this black beauty. Now the only task left is to sell her corolla :)

oh btw is anyone interested in a 2001 white corolla? it's been owned by my gf who only drove 27k miles in three years. There are still 33kmile/2year warranty left from Toyota, and we live in MA :) The only reason we sell is because she drove less and less since we moved together, and a 2001 car loses its value fast.

Again thanks for all the suggestions and advices, you people are amazing :)
