940 to 240 ECU swap 200 1993

Does anyone know if the 940 uses the same ECU as the 240? My mechanic said he's getting codes 232, 221 and 231 on our 93 245. (Check engine light is on & doesn't start well) He check everything related & can't find anything, said would need to change ECU to check any further.
Anyway sad to say I totaled my 94 940 last week but I'm going to the junk yard to pull some parts off it. Was wondering if anyone knows if ECU will work in 245.
