700 Auto shifter indicator lighting 700 1989

Hi

It's nice to be making my first post here after the purchase of my 89 740GLE auto estate, a car I am very happy with after recently changing from a W123 Merc...

Anyway, I'm assuming the auto shift indicator panel is backlit at night, so how do you get the bulb out? Also do the switches for rear foglamp, sunroof, and heated mirror/window not light up, they are a real pain to find fumbling around in the dark.
