I think the previous owner put in a keyless entry for the pod doesn't have Volvo's name on it. When I lock the doors there is a two burst chirp chirp. The guage lights as well as the front and rear parking lights blink two times. The question I have is if I disconnect the loudspeaker, will the keyless entry stop working. I really dislike the chirping sound. It is sort of immature sounding, if there is such a thing. It sounds out of character for the car itself.

also today was a serious maintenance day. Auto trans fluid, spark plugs, fuel filter, along with front and rear brakes were changed. Earlier in the week the exhaust was changed and the car got inspected. the signature to my satisfaction with this car is my children and wife loving to ride in the car. My wife loves to drive it too. I can't say this about my other cars so the car must impress my wife.
