DEAR BRICKSTERS.i hope you all doing well.i have been using regular engine oil and many brands of oil filters that i can get on sale for the past 8 years on my cars now,changing the engine oil and filter every 3500 miles and using regular transmission fluid dexron 2 with the tranny maintenance.i am just curious to know why most people on the board here use OEM filters and use synthetic oil for both engine and tranny.I would like your opinions.thankyou all and have a good day. charles .
