Interior resto, some advice needed... 200

Well it all started with some new carpet...but of course I have nearly gutted the interior of my '84 242. I'm transforing it from the beige that was so popular in the decade of decadance to black, and I have a few questions...#1. I picked up a really nice pair of seats from an '88, but someone threw a bunch of greasy engine/exhaust parts all over them while still in the car. Any good sugestions on getting it out? They're to greasy to just throw in the washer #2. One of the seatbacks is a little out of shape...fix or get new seatfoam? I'd like new, but there's none at the junkyard and economic$ won't allow IPD. #3. For you guys with four speeds, can you put in a CD in 1st or 3rd? I have a CD player from my first car, but i think i'd like to relocate it to the empty slot up above...I once saw a kit for this on ebay, but no longer...any idea where I could find one? It will be so nice to hear a decent radio again...by the way, KEXP Seattle 90.3 Rocks! #4. Colour advice...dash/plastic/carpet will be black, seats are a cool graphite coloured fabric w/ black vinyl trim...so door panels...graphite w/ black arm rests/map pockets/speaker grilles or everything black? #5. My shifter doesn't feel "new" enough...someone mentined something months ago about some kind of bushings or something to fix that, and I may as well do it with everything apart, allthough I am getting tired of my sister's purple saturn...Thanks in advance for all of the great responses I know I'll get.
