WARM STALL problem SOLVED...woo hoo!! 200 1989

Hey folks,

I posted several times here on the brickboard for help in solving a warm stall problem. Even after many useful hints, I still hadn't solved the problem after MANY replaced parts. Finally identified the culprit, though. Figured I'd share the info, for those who are dealing with the stalling issue. See http://brickboard.com/RWD/index.htm?id=840633 for a list of symptoms and a list of parts that were replaced in search of the problem.

Turned out to be a bad distributor cap and rotor PLUS a bad plug wire. Doesn't seem obvious to me in retrospect, but I'm a newbie to auto repair so I don't feel too bad. It was a painful process, in terms of time and frustration, but I certainly understand my 240 a lot beter now !! ;)
