I have two clutch radiator fans. How can I tell which one is superior? 200 1980

A while back I picked up a clutch radiator fan thinking that the fan in my '80 245 DL (with an M-46) was bad. Well, turns out it was the water pump that was bad, and I’m guessing the fan was just fine.

So I now have 2 fans, both of which I'm sure are okay, but one has more resistance then the other. What does this tell me?

The one that was in the car has more resistance then the one I got from the junk yard.
