sunroof 960 900 1994

I have a 1994 volvo 960 I love the car,
For a long time my sunroof switch was going out. I had to clean it like every three months for the roof to work.
But now its stuck all the way back and moves forwards and backwards only like 1/4 of an inch. And once you move it one way, it wont keep going that way if you press it again, only the opposit. Its not the switch because it does move forwards and backwards as I said. *but I cleaned it anyways just incase*
I did disconnect the motor and pull it forward and got it closed. But I love the sunroof and was wondering if you guys have an idea as to what is wrong.

*I believe the relay is fine and the fuse is fine*
