Factory odometer seal 200

Looking at low mileage 240's for sale. Last two I bought were under 80K miles and CarFax reports indicated acurate mileage. However, after inspecting the Speedo heads upon thier failure, I noticed lack of a factory seal. Units could be unpluged and replaced with no seal or lock to prevent this. Does anyone know for sure if the Sweedes put any kind of "tamper-proof" seal on the speedo cluster to indicate replacement of the speedo head.
