Named the 'howler' she earned it...noise diagnosis help 200 1987

Ok...Every time I fix one thing on this 87 245 I get a new noise.
Here's the history>
Bought Car in NC and drove home 1100 miles to Fort Worth with no problems.
Next day... Howling noise at speeds over 40 mph and short screeching on acceleration.

Mechanic says a/c was having some problems but the screech was harmonic balancer.
Replaced by Volvo shop $$$$

Next week... Screeching is worse and related to rpm.
Changed out a/c belt and p/s belt.
Screech is gone better but howl is still there.

two days later... a/c compresser froze up and broke belt.
smoke smell screaming ensued.

Today...replaced with bypass belt to restore p/s and ignore a/c till spring.
All the screeching is gone but now I seem to have a siren instead of a howl.
This only happens when the car is moving. Intensity Changes with acceleration but its not always there. More at speeds over 30mph.
Here's the question...I'm so new at this but should I pay someone to diagnose it or do you guys have any ideas?

Frustrated in Texas
