The trans shop has it, said it smells burnt, sludgy. They do not flush it, no machine. He said that flushing will often make you realize that it is slipping. Only reason I bought it is to back up my 88 760. I paid $1500, calif. car, so it is clean but all the fluids are dirty, poor maint. Next step, flsuh the dirty brake fluid, test for water leaks/head gaskets. I'm trying to get all of the work done wsith Intagio, a barter program to conserve cash.
Then, if all goes well, does it make sense to remove my ipd coils, struts, sways etc from the 88 and swap them to the 90 or just get new standard strut/shock parts?
