Horn Randomly Activates 700 1990

From Oldtimer:
I have a 1990 740 GL in which the horn randomly activates predominately when the steering is turned at least 20 degrees. The problem seems to occur more often when turned to the right. Once the horn is activated activation time can last from 1 second to 4 seconds, and continues in sporatic bursts until steering is returned to straight position.

I need help in 2 areas :
1: Diagnosis
2: I am not familiar with how to get access to wiring, (my first Volvo) nor horn button removal.
