I took the leap from my 93 945 NA to a 98 V90. It was in great shape for the most part. Dealer serviced from 35 miles to 88K into my driveway, super clean interior, very good but not perfect exterior...a few minor scratches many of which were touched up.Paid $7600 out the door. I'm looking things over closesly and I noticed the alloys were repainted...but a very good job of it, of course the broken sunroof plastic guides, but it still works perfectly and no signs of leakage. The engine is nearly perfect. 400 miles and nothing leaking or weeping and it simply purrs...no valve ticking even cold. I sure notice the difference over my 940 in terms of performance and weight....it definitely feels a bit heavier. My first mileage calc. is 21mpg with mid-grade gas.
However, it appears the used dealer detailer was a bit sloppy with the orbital polisher and I have swirl marks that I would like to take out. Any suggestions for a method, materials and procedure? Thanks!
