shift lock solenoid 200 1992

Hello All -

I have a 1992 245 automatic --- my shifter is giving me problems.....It does not like to shift our of park in the AM. Some mornings it takes longer than others....My mechanic said you probably need a new Shift Lock Solenoid. I called FCP groton and they gave me a quote of $100 for the volvo part.

Has anyone done this? How hard of a job is this to do?
