half installed seatbelt assembly? 700 1991

Ok i bought new seatbelt assembly for my 91 740t (i got just the belts reciever part) like the part you click the belt into. Anyways, i got the old one off, and went to put the new one and got that right, but i couldnt get under the seat at the cord that makes the reciever light up. So now ive got the new one in and it works good, but i cant plug it in because i cant get under the seat to unplug the old one. hehe. Im know im supposed to take the seat out to get at it, but i dont know what tools im supposed to get to do it. Does anyone know what tool im supposed to buy to get the seat off? or if i even need more then one tool for this.
