Hi,
This is driving me crazy! My car wouldn't start yesterday. I found that I had no fuel pressure. Well, I pulled the fuel pump cover down, and used a multi-meter on the power leads. While someone cranked the engine, I got nothing on the multi-meter. So, I asume it's the fuel pump relay. Well, I find what I think is the relay, but I find out after the part is purchased, that it's not(flasher relay, or something like that.) Well, I found a relay exactly like the one I bought, but it's a black relay, and it is located under the dead pedal cover. Well, I find out this isn't the fuel pump relay either! So, I've torn the entire interior apart, but still no luck! I'm told it's white, or green, and it's under the dash. This is for an '88 240 sedan. I'd like to see a picture of the location if someone's got one. I need to get this car running today! Why'd Volvo stick these things anywhere, and everywhere?! Saabs are all in one spot! Crazy Swedes!
