Rear license plate LIGHTING assembly replacement 700

It appears that the entire bulb assembly on the left side of the rear license plate bracket is missing. Only the bulb and housing on the right side exist, and that bulb works fine to illuminate my license plate. At the boneyards, I've seen quite a few of these on wagons. I'd imagine there's still a lot of life left in those that remain from front-end collision damaged cars, and wonder how easy (or difficult) it would be to replace the whole assembly, instead of having to figure out how to replace the left-side light housing on my current one. I recall looking at one briefly and it looked like it was held on by torque screws, but I might not be recollecting. Anyone have any advice or tips on removal, reassembly or cautions?
