1981 245 bad rear end-what to install a 1984 245 turbo rear end 200

i was given a 1981 245 with a bad rear end, can i install a 1984 245 turbo rear end in it place? now the 1981 rear bushings are different from the 1984 245 turbo bushings. i want to install the 1984 245 turbo rear end with new bushings,which i have in stock,in the 1981 245. i am building the 1981 from the ground up.rebuilding the front suspension also. with a non-powered rack&steering,one less belt, installing the 245 sway bars. taking the auto trans out and installing a 4 sp/od. the 1981 is in too good of shape not to build it. if any body can give any idea or thought about this project it will help.thanks, kim-volvofrk
