95 940 non turbo, 'check engine' light stays lit after OBD flashes 1-1-1 900

sorry for previous blank post.

The automatic sedan with 130k is running great, and the OBD flashes 1-1-1, meaning there are no stored faults. The only unusual reading with the OBD was when I put the test lead in position 6, it blinked 4-1-3, a code which is not supposed to be applicable to 940s.

I disconnected the battery yesterday and the 'check engine' light went out.
But when I drove it later, after about 2-3 miles, it came on steady again.

Any advice or suggestions greatly appreciated.

thanks in advance.
