Greetings.
I had a minor transmissio leak. This morning I decided to locate its source. It is where the two transmission line meet and there is an aluminum crossmember over the lines. I removed the crossmember and I noticed a severe wear on the line and a small pinhole.
According to previous postings the solutions were:
1 Flexible tubing and two clamps
2 Rigid tubing and two compression fittings.
I could use method 1 as a stop gap measure, I prefer method 2 and reinstall the aluminum crossmember, however What is the size for the compression fittings?
The tubing that I measured miked at .320, apparently too large for 5/16 or for 8 mm (.315)
Thank you for our response
