I installed the large tachometer/ small clock combo in my '93 240. These gauges are naturally fairly ancient at this point. I had to do the capacitor repair on the clock.

The tachometer works ok but I observed one odd thing. When shifting gears it will undershoot and then come back up to the right rpm. In other words it doesn't immediately point to the new rpms, but goes further down and comes back up. Is this normal?
