CYL no. 4 not firing .... 700 1986

Car is 1986 740T with B230 4 cyl engine.
It’s making knocking / pinging noises.
The last cylinder (number 4), next to the distributor
is not firing. I have the spark, and I have the power to
the fuel injector. By default, it is either the injector itself,
or perhaps something far more serious, like blown head gasket.
Any ideas ?
