I was driving the car at normal throttle and went to pass somebody and when i did, i noticed that the boost gauge under the tach only shot up a tad over half way. Usually a somewhat hard punch would send it about three quarters of the way to the end or slightly further. I checked all of the air hoses (most new) and could find no leaks. I notice that if i hit the gas hard, i get a whirring wind noise so i know its shooting air from somewhere. Im not to familer with this stuff. Also the car likes to stall for the first couple of minutes until it gets warmed up. However it did this before the leak started. I was told it was the mass air unit I just replaced (God love Autozone). However I was told that it could be adjusted to read a higher amount of air (the tamper proof screw). Is this hard to do, should i replace the unit again, or should i just set the car on fire and claim insurance? Thanks for any imput.
