Bricksters:

Hopefully this is an easy question. My cruise control has intermittent problems of not working. My mechanic magically "fixes" it each time I ask, but never tells me what he has done. When I was doing some work behind the speedometer last week, I noticed an orange wire disconnected. There is an orange wire that comes from the cruise switch. Can anyone tell me where this orange wire belongs? This is in fact the same orange wire from the cruise, and my hunch is that this is the reason the cruise doesn't work. If someone could tell me where to connect it, I would greatly appreciate it. My surly Volvo mechanic can't see me again this week, and I've got lots of traveling to do over Thanksgiving.

Any help you could provide would be appreciated. When the cruise works, it works without fail, no surging or other problems. My hunch is that it is a connection problem, and I need this thing to work!!!

Thanks,
Andrew in NC
