I am part way thru the intake manifold gasket removal process on our 95 960. All the bolts on the inner manifold are either loose or finger tight.
To all those experience folks out there that have performed this R & R I have a question :
Was the original gasket actually compromised or damaged?
If the manifold gasket was not damaged, I'd like to try to torque down the manifold bolts to spec (15 ft. lbs. center out) and see if that solves the #1 cylinder vauum leak.
What's been your experience?
