Non turbo
Car cannot start after running. The problem is associated with the starter because I do no get any crank when I turn the key. Absolute silence. Battery seems okay and even if it is battery, i should have that crank sound, but no, nothing.
In these situations I always get it to start by connecting a wire from the starter to the positive terminal of the battery and with the ingnition key set to on. Learnt from this board.
The question I like to ask is, is it the starter fault or the wiring?
Please guide me here because I am really getting fed up with opening the bonnet and messing around in the engine compartment each time I need to start when hot.
I'm sure some of you guys have experienced this so please help me out.
Thanks
Laozong
