The used Volvo guy I bought my 98 V90 from sent the title docs. and service records. Obviously better to have seem them as part of the pre-purchase inspection process, but I bought my 940 sedan from this guy and he's a straight shooter. He lists lot's of Volvo's on eBay. Anyway, nothing earth shattering:
It had 88K on it when I bought it.
-2 prior owners. Original was a lease deal until 18K.
-2nd was a purchase from a Volvo dealership in Northern NJ.
-Service records indicate all of the Volvo prescribed time/mileage servicing.
-Routine 3-4K oil,lube filter.
-New timing belt at 67K
-New drive belts twice in the 60K or so miles that the last PO put on it
-New front rotors at about 50K
-New pads twice all around
-4 Wheel alignment
-Appears to be a problematic front passenger PW switch...still is a problem. Goes down but not up unless I use the drivers master switch
-New steering rack at 73K
-4 new Pirelli P4000 79K
The first order of business is a trans. fluid change, next week. Volvo specialist $100 with Volvo synthetic(who really makes that one?)
What else do you gentlemen suggest?
