center support bearing question 200

86' 240 dl estate, automatic.
When I replaced the tailshaft bearing I noticed the rubber center support for the driveshaft was almost gone. I am replaceing the rubber piece and inspecting the bearing inside it today; just wanted to ask if there is anything I should keep in mind, or avoid?
