My brick roars at 50mph and over. 200 1988

Hi guys,

today my brick started to roar when going 50mph and over. The noise is very low-pitched, therefore it's impossible to say, where it's coming from. It causes light vibration and is not RPM-related (roars in any gear), so engine and exhaust can be ruled out. Before I take it to a repair shop, are there things I can check myself without lifting the car? B230F, AW70
