Has anyone used a "Motive Products" pressure bleeder? FCP Groton sells them for about $45.00. I am having trouble bleeding the left rear after installing a new caliper assy. on my '89 240. I know there is a "rear brake valve" that limits the pressure to the rear calipers. I get a little fluid out of the bleeder when I open it with pressure on the brake pedal, but not much. The caliper appears to be working with pressure applied ---------- the pads clamp onto the disc and retract properly when released, but the pedal feels soft. I was just wondering if the pressure bleeder has enough power to overcome the pressure limiting function of the rear brake valve.
