What do do about investing more money in my 780 700

Not sure what to do. I was hit in my door of my 1989 780. Pretty sure I might need a new door at about 1000 cost. I think I have about 160k miles. Not sure if I should fix the car or just sell it. Any ideas of if I should just get rid of it and start anew with a newer volvo..like a 940se..thanks...Jeffrey
