3rd seat safetybelt location? 200

I finally installed the 3rd seat and had some questions about which direction the seatbelts go. the donor car that I got the seat from had them bolted to the roof and the wheelwell at about 2o'clock on the top side of the well. with the adjusters located at the bottom.

I found this picture on the net which shows the belts bolted to the flat side of the wheelwell and it looks to have the adjusters at the top hanging down?

Which way is the preferred way?
