My 4-hours on the highway a week ago really indicated to me the necessity of an overdrive for my '66 122s sedan- pulled up to 80mph no problem, but didn't sound so nice! So, I've seen mentions of M41 transmissions..... but also a few other IDs (M40, etc.). What is the one that I should be looking for? The modern transmission retrofits from v-performance sound pretty cool, but a used Volvo OD transmission is likely a more affordable option for now.
