960 check engine light, & code P 0172 900 1996

Daughter just showed up from far away with a check engine light, code shown on OBD reader is p 0172, rich bank 1. MIL showed up shortly after, but not instantaneously with, servicer starting car with gas cap off after replacing fuel filter.
1. is there a manual reset button for the MIL, and if so, where is it?
2. Is the code indicative of some other problem, or due to the service glitch?

I'm sure this is in prior archives, but can't get the search function to work for me today.

She's leaving tomorrow, so any prompt suggestions will be appreciated. TIA
