960 transmission fluid question 900

I'd like to change the transmission fluid in my '93 960 with 73K miles. I bought IPD's flush kit for my '89 740. Would this work on the '93? I'd also like to change the filter in the trans. Should I do this first, then flush the fluid out? I'm planning on using Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF.
