main seal leak on 940 900

I have had three rear main seals replaced in 2 months. Each time, the repair holds for a couple of hundred miles and then I'm back to a quart a week. What could be causing these to start leaking? The repairs are being done by Hunter Volvo in Hendersonville, NC.
