So, I'm driving my wife's daily driver, a 90 760T with 210K, in 40 degree weather, and suddenly the teltale misty, sticky windshield with the sweet smelling fog from the vents apears. Heater core, of course. So I remove the cap on the overflow tank to eliminate pressure in the system and drive the rest of the day without heat.

I checked the FAQ and still have some questions. First, my indy shop says 4-5 hours for a 740 without climate control, but 9 hours for this 760 with climate control. FAQ and conversation with friends agree that at best it's a nasty job, but what makes the difference in time with the 760? I've removed the dash, radio, center console and switch panels on this car before, so that part seems relatively easy...
