140 vs 240 fuel pump 200 1978

My friend's dad is offering me a few parts from his old 145. Question: Will a late model 140 k-jetronic primary fuel pump work on, say, a 1978 Volvo 240? They look exactly the same and I'm hankering for a replacement.
