Looking for tie rod ends for my 1986 244GL, power steering. Have a "new" rack from a boneyard, decided to do tie rod ends and ball joints as one job.

Checked around local parts houses for tie rod ends. Wow, what a spread!

AutoZone-------$20.99 each, made by either TRW or MOOG (which is owned by TRW)

Car Quest------Sorry, we are out.

O'Reilly's-----Only $39.95 each, have two in stock. Made by MOOG

NAPA-----------$61.95 each, will have to order. Made by Dana.

Volvo Dealer---$48.33 each, have in stock.

So, is it a "no brainer" or a price = quality decision.
