91 240DL Engine cut out 1991

I have a 1991 240DL that cuts out at 50 MPH. It'll be cruising along and the engine light comes on and the car looses power and decelerates, I put it in neutral and it starts up again. I had the mass air flow meter changed, on the way home from the shop it happened again. Anybody have any suggestions??
