I addopted a 1983 244 Turbo! (picutres to come)

I just bought a 1983 244 turbo with the m46. I bought it from the guy who has owned it since 1984, and has really taken good care of it. This is a car that I remember seeing years earlier and liking. The turbo was updated to an intercooler. Before I can drive it, I will need to replace the fuel pump and replace the front engene seals. The body is in good shape for except for a crease in both the drivers side pasenger and rear door. It's not to big, not sure if I will replace the doors or just fix the dents when I get around to it. Rest of the body is pristine. It came with a set of turbo wheels and a set of tires that were brand new. I cound't resist, buying the car, because, I bought it for the price he paid for the tires this last time. ($400) I figuered I couldn't go wrong. how hard is it going to be to replace the engene seals? Is this a do it your self job, or? Also, he told me the rear fuel pump was faluty. Can I check the relay to be sure? The car has been sitting for six months, before I fire it to life or even check out the fuelpump, what should I do, besides checking the oil? I will try to post pictures tommorow. I told my 88 244 that it was still number one. I hope she does not get jelous! The car is black, how common were black 244 turbos, I can only recall ever seeing two that I can think of.
Does this now make me a volvoaholic?
Thank's and Happy Bricking!
