The car is a 1994 944 NA 100K miles. I have replaced both strut rod bushings with the poly version from FCP Groton, both ball joints with MOOG from FCP Groton, both swaybar end link bushings from FCP Groton. Now the car handles curves pretty OK, but at high speed, there are high frenquency viberation transmitted from the steering wheel. It's not violent, but enough to make traveling @80mph unpleasant. It feels very much like a slightly unbalanced wheel, except that the vibration did not happen until 70 or 75mph. It was always there at 80mph or higher, completely gone when below 65mph, and happened intermittedly (spelling??) at a speed of 70+ mph. There was no shaking of any kind when braking. I tightened the bolts and nuts for the ball joints and swaybar link bushings while the car was jack stands. These seemed to be the only thing I did not follow the instructions, could it cause the shaking? Any input is appreciated.
