any comments on Sears WinterHandler Ice & Snow tires? 200 1986

I'm looking for an inexpensive snow tire to mount on an extra set of steel wheels. These fit the bill, just wondering if they're any good, who makes them, is there another tire I should be looking at etc. I live in Denver, CO and most of my driving is around town and not in the mountains. I just want to be safe when we get our occasional blasts of winter. Our first snow took me off guard and it was pretty dicey returning from South Dakota after t-day on regular tires.
