My glove box is stuck on my 940. 900 1991

The glove box on my 940 turbo is stuck. The knob will turn and the resistance of the return spring is felt. However, the door catches do not release and the door will not open. Using the ignition key in the lock does not do anything. I'm pretty sure something in the works is busted. What do I do?Thanks Eric
