Difference between B23A and B230K 200 1986

Hello,
What is the difference between a B23A and a B230K. The B23A is fitted to my fathers 1985 240 and the B230K to my 1986 740. Could you use any parts off the B23A for my car or fit the complete engine if needed into mine. How many horse power is the B23A. Thanks James.
