power steering pull to the right 200

Hi all,
MY power steering has pulled to the right (if I remove my hands from the wheel, it will turn until it reaches the limit.) it has done this since I bought the car and my solution was to remove the belt to the power steering pump. it no longer pulls with the power steering disconnected, but I wasnt reconnect the power steering and I'm wondering if I need to replace the pump, or if there is an adjustment that I can make.
