How to unfreeze a frozen tailgate lock set 700

I saw the thread on a frozen tailgate lock. After soaking mine for weeks in various solutions,,,, I found a winner.

Pickup some CLR bathroom cleaner.

Pour it in a jar and throw in the lockset.

It will free up the tumblers within a few hours.

Saves having to dismantle and rebuild the lockset,,, a real pain.

Hope this helps folks up north where the road salts raise cane with these.
