I am a new first time owner of a 92 244,I have wanted an "old school" brick for some time and found a super clean 240 with 125k, outside and inside it is almost mint but alas there is a number of electrical issues. I am on quite a budget so I try to repair things myself when possible. I'll go after one problem at a time and thank you in advance for any help. My most annoying problem at this point is that the wipers when turned on will not shut off. On occasion if you just bump the stalk down you can get them to sweep and park. Much more often once they are on,there are on till you kill power to the car when they are in the park position,then they will stay off. Also I noticed that the intermitt setting (up I think) is identical to the low speed setting, i.e. no pause in action. Lo and hi speeds operate, My thought is that it's the switch, but I don't want to spend $65 if it really is the relay or motor. Any ideas?
